Metso Drives Oy Parkano: Toothing machine guard system

The guard is equipped with touch-sensitive edges, safety glass windows and an air filtering system. The system is connected to the control centre of the machine. The doors open though to the rear wall, such that large workpieces can be brought in using a crane.

Sandvik Coromant: Milling machine

The device has safety glass windows, an access control system with magnetic sensors and casing for the control centre. Special care was taken in the design with respect to the control and serial cabling of the machine.

SKF Göteborg: Grinding machine guard system

The guard is cast to fit the shape of the machine. The system is equipped with sound proofing and the high use of cooling liquid is taken into account in the design. The system has an access control system, double safety glass and automatic doors.
